Halloween 2011

Saturday, October 29th, 2011

Hey Guys,

We all know that Halloween is particularly tricky when your skin is not in great control. If this year was a bummer for you, know that you will have another shot at it next year. After about 20 years of greasy costumes that never played in real life or in photos, I finally was comfortable in my face this year.

It takes some of us 36 years to find balance. Hopefully you will learn from my mistakes and quickly find mastery of your skin and your life.

Better late than never right? this year’s Halloween finally played… (first time in my adult life)

Behavioral Problems Associated With Acne: (Part 1)

Thursday, October 27th, 2011

Hey everyone,

I often say on the blog, “The more we observe, the less we react”

In light of that quote, I will be breaking down the common reactive behavioral problems that are commonly seen in those with acne.

In part one of this blog series, we will be uncovering and increasing awareness of the common emotional imbalance of Oppositional Defiance.

This very common behavioral pattern is defined as:

a pattern of disobedient, hostile, and defiant behavior toward authority figures.

While we often celebrate this behavior pattern in art and music, it can significantly decrease the chance of victory for any doctor/patient relationship.

I believe this behavioral pattern is commonly seen in acne patients because once a patient is traumatized by failure after having listened carefully to their doctor, they begin to believe all doctors are either incompetent or out to get them. (It’s unfortunate that this paranoia is somewhat justified in our assembly line medical system)

Nonetheless, they will continue to defy all doctors even when he or she is quite competent and caring. It becomes a predictable and common behavioral pattern that is a set up for a lifetime of failed treatments.

You see, once a treatment failure occurs, the patient usually develops a deeper distrust thinking that they were “right” to defy their doctor in the first place. It’s a classic spiral of distrust, non-compliance with recommendations, failure, deeper distrust, and so on… (It’s classic and painfully predictable)

This 18 minute video vividly illustrates the emotional phenomenon that is occurring in the world of modern medicine:

After working with and carefully observing patients who display this behavioral pattern, I decided to directly address this problem in the acne bootcamp program with some non-negotiable rules. The major rules are that clients must use acne analytics to evaluate their skin and they must email in a time sensitive manner if having any concerns whatsoever.

These rules were never negotiable and the 100% success rate has always been dependent on clients participating as instructed.
The details of this relationship has been outlined Here.

With that in mind, I’d like to share with you the phenomenon of oppositional defiance that was recently found on the internet regarding this bootcamp program:

“Dr. Neal says to become part of his program I had to do acne analytics which is taking pictures and telling him which spots are oily and counting every pimple on your face and sending him these emails; admittingly I didn’t do that for the first month. Why would I? its not like the emails are going to cure my pimples and oilyness.”

Pay close attention to the “why would I?” part. This line of thought can only come from the reflex of distrust.

The elaborated sentence illustrates the behavior more vividly:

“Why would I join an acne bootcamp program and actually listen to the doctor who is running the program?”

There is a predictable reason why this person wouldn’t listen. Around here we call it oppositional defiance, distrust, and emotional distraction.

It’s the relentless and commonly seen habit of negotiating things that are not negotiable. It’s classic for acne sufferers and the inspiration to make the rules of this bootcamp written in stone. When someone breaches them, they are immediately self-removed from the program. They can restart anytime once they have recognized the breach and have promised to try better next time.

In future posts, we can discuss how acne is related to other behavioral and emotional problems such as defeatism, skepticism, pessimism, apathy, anger, reflex doom and gloom, fear of parasites, fear of fungus, fear of food, fear of activity, and various other emotional distractions.

Again, the more we observe, the less we emotionally react. This series should help many people become “good” clients in this rigid bootcamp relationship.

I’ll be here,

-Dr. Neal

The Kit Selector is Here!!

Saturday, October 22nd, 2011

Screen shot 2011-10-15 at 3.13.38 PM

My programmers are working full speed to help materialize the first virtual medical practice ever created. It’s exciting to see them in action.

Today’s debut addresses the most frequently asked question I receive in the office:

“Which starter kit is right for me?”

Our first interactive interface will answer this question with an automated kit selector designed to reassure clients when choosing a starter kit. Of course, we are still here to answer any further questions or concerns by email or phone.

Although the videos aren’t yet polished, the content of the selector has been triple checked for accuracy and is ready for use.

Check it out..!

New Rebates!!! and much more…

Tuesday, October 4th, 2011

jeans

Hey Everyone,

I’m well aware that the cost of this new healing program will eventually have to decrease in order to help everyone who is still suffering.

The reason the kits have cost up to 300 dollars for the last 4 years is because I can only handle so many emails per day and members are expected to email daily if having any concern whatsoever. The higher cost has kept the numbers manageable, allowed for further investment in original programming, and has given a real one on one opportunity for those who have failed everything.

It’s been a niche practice that has been completely satisfying for me as a practitioner in that I have been able to maintain my 100% success rate with all clients who have followed the “how to be a good client” category of the blog. It’s been very rewarding on many emotional levels and I thank all those who have contributed to the movement.

Today marks a major step in the evolution of this worldwide virtual practice. There are two new rebates today that will both help people get started and also allow everyone to see the possibilities of what’s coming in the near future.

The first rebate is called the:

Acne Analytics™ Celebration Rebate:

As expected, Acne Analytics™ has made emails significantly more efficient for me and with this new technology comes the first drop in price since the inception of The Home Version.
I am now bringing the kits down from 300, 280, 260, and 250 to 240 for all kits.

The second rebate will help spread the movement. We’ll call it the:

Refer A Friend Rebate:

If you refer someone you know to Acne Bootcamp, we will send you 2 free refill products of your choice!

Simply email me with the name of the new member after they have ordered their kit and let me know the details of how you referred them here.
In the same email, let me know which two products you would like us to send you!

Of course, there will have to be some stipulations to make sure this offer is used as originally intended.

Here they are:

-This limited time offer is for existing Acne Bootcamp members who have been enrolled for at least a week.
-Limited to one offer per month per client. If referring more frequently, feel free to get in touch with us.
-Your referral email must occur within 3 days from the time of the new order.
(in the future, we’ll update the cart to manage referrals)

Ok, now its time to let you know whats going on in the practice. For all that have become a part of this program and movement, here’s where your hard earned money is going:

We are reinvesting all our profits into programming the first virtual medical practice ever created!!.

Not a 1990’s internet health forum full of guesswork, emotional bias, and amateur distractions and not a doctor online who is unable to say anything but, “see your physician”

The future that is arriving this season is a fully operational virtual healing experience that will monitor every client’s participation in acne bootcamp every single day. My responses that I use for thousands of email questions are being converted into hundreds of tutorial videos and the whole library is being neatly organized in a flowing interactive system. The basic idea is that every concern will be resolved immediately. As of now, I manually resolve all concerns by email in 1-3 days. The future system will deliver every aspect of Acne Bootcamp immediately, bringing a virtual interactive experience that has never been seen before.

Here’s the predicted time table and plan:

1) Release the new virtual interactive technology for regular home version clients to test by the end of this winter. (I’ll use the current email system as a backup to all glitches or concerns during this clinical testing period) Every action of every client will be monitored and studied to make sure all communication is clear.

2) Once activated, further refine the virtual system and work out all kinks until I’m confident it can bring the same 100% success rate without the need for email assistance.

3) Set up larger scale manufacturing and storage by next spring to bring down costs and prepare for a proper debut.

4) Release the first fully operational virtual medical practice by summer of 2012.

5) We’ll run responsible, non-hyped national commercials and be able to get the prices down by next summer. My goal is to eventually get the kits down to 120 dollars and to eventually decrease the refills down to 20 dollar per product.

6) Then, when all is working to my clinical satisfaction, I will further invest to have every video, text, and interaction perfectly translated in every single language. Hoping to have this done by 2013.

It’s very exciting and I believe the accessibility of this technology will play a pivotal role in fixing the healthcare crisis our global culture is facing. Chronic inflammatory ailments have the power to ruin every aspect of life. There is no motivation to strive for success if you have a chronic belly ache and there is no tenacity to take on great dreams if your face feels on fire.

I find the presence of these types of ailments and the predictable emotional hoplessness that comes alongside them unacceptable. I refuse to live in a world full of doom and gloom for conditions that have been irrefutably proven to be treatable. I find it unacceptable.

To the movement,

-Dr. Neal
