I feel like its too good to be true. Just yesterday, I went to my dermatologist for some help after trying everything I could, Acutane, Birth control, retina-A, Proactive, and of course all of the over the counter products, just to hear him say that there’s nothing he could do for me. I sat in his office crying for a while for him to then say, well maybe you should try Acutane again. He said, “It couldn’t hurt.” Is he crazy? That’s exactly what it does, …hurt! I was feeling hopeless when I left, so I made another appointment with my estiticion to get a facial. Those always give me a day or two of happiness. I came home and was feeling pretty bad, so I decided to go on to YouTube for a good laugh to cheer me up. The first thing that came up was a video from Acne Practice. I watched it and I couldn’t believe my eyes. I just thought it was some freakishly crazy acting. So I did some research. I went to http://www.acnepractice.com and read all about Dr. Neal and listened to his radio broadcast about how he came up with the Acne Boot Camp Products and his passion for helping himself and others overcome this humilitaing problem. Today I woke up feeling hope for my future, so I logged onto the acne practice and bought the home starter kit today. I am anxious to see how this all plays out. Thank you Dr. Neal for giving a high school teacher some hope today that her students will no longer know her as the teacher with acne!

“There’s nothing he could do for me” is the reason this practice was built.

All treatable conditions can be treated. period.

Sometimes it takes a higher level of mastery.

You will do great in the home version if you can ask for assistance as needed.

    I’ll be here,
    -Dr. Neal

  9. Charlie Says:

With the overwhelming e-mails how would u get to everyone in a day? i want to try this product but a buddy of mines said that sometimes it will take days to get an answer and that is too long a wait for a struggling acne patient.

  10. admin Says:

    hello,

We are evolving the email system every month. (a large upgrade is coming in a few weeks)

My goal is to keep upgrading it to maintain the current response time which is 1-2 days.

If 1-2 days is too long to wait, one may not be emotionally ready for this program just yet. This program requires a reasonable level of emotional stability and focus.

The only goal of this program is success. All other business, marketing, website functionality, and expansion are second priorities and only doable if the success rate is maintained.

    -Dr. Neal

Vegetarians with Acne??

Sunday, July 12th, 2009

0512-0705-0719-1729    When people tell me that they choose to only eat vegetarian, vegan, raw food, or any other restrictive type of diet, I always ask them if they changed their diets specifically to help their skin.   Most say yes, and I see how baffled and confused they become by the reality that their skin is totally out of control despite an unbelievably conscious diet, an ultra-fit and meditative lifestyle, and great coping skills for their stress…

How can this group of people still have so much Acne??

It baffles everyone and causes a frustration that eventually can lead to hopelessness.

I’m going to try to help ease this very common misconception here and emphasize the point with a Live Documentary Case Study.

Here’s the root of the confusion:

There is an undeniable reality that better diets and conscious eating have overwhelmed modern medicine in a great way, helping to prevent all types of diseases that once haunted people needlessly.  I changed my eating habits recently in a subtle way and noticed an immediate increase in energy and sensation of well being.  I can see first hand why so many people are so enthusiastic about new eating strategies.

However, there is a great mistaken assumption made by both enthusiasts and professional healers that sounds like this,  “If dietary strategies can heal so many ailments,  It must be able to clear all acne as well”    This adamant assumption can create a serious emotional problem of hopelessness for someone who is eating perfectly and still suffering.  It’s a set up for failure, stress, and depression.

The more responsible and accurate statement that needs to be made about dietary strategies will be made here to ease the stress of those making great efforts, yet still struggling:

“Although dietary strategies of all kinds have helped many people battle their acne,   their will inevitably be those with acne more powerful than the healing power of nutritional selectivity.  Those who are still struggling despite amazing nutrition need not be baffled.  They are one of a great many who is eating ultra-consciously and suffering from chronic active acne. ”

My personal recommendation to vegetarians who are still suffering:

If years of dietary changes have not brought you satisfaction yet,  do not be surprised at all.   Look for other ways to fight this battle while keeping your healthy lifestyle going.

Some may ask,   “What’s wrong with trying many new diets for a couple years to see if it can handle the acne.”

My response is typically:     “You have about 3-4 weeks to play around with acne.  As time passes, trial and error can have many side effects.

(see this post:  time = scarring)

Others may presume,    “Well, those vegetarians are probably eating a lot of junk food that has no meat in it.”   or   ‘They are doing the diet incorrectly”

(I often remind people that Acne patients are very motivated.  This is a very powerful condition.)

—The assumtion that someone who still has acne is just not doing the diet right and claiming to be perfectly health conscious is highly  offensive to any intelligent health conscious sufferer.  No one should assume that someone with acne is not trying amazing efforts to get clear.  My experience with acne sufferers has shown that acne patients are often times the most health conscious people ever,  even when their faces are totally active.

Bottom Line:

People are still underestimating the power and stubbornness of this condition.

(I see this every day)

Eating great is wonderful for the mind, body, and spirit.  Do not be surprised, confused, or lose hope in any way if your eating habits do not solve all of your acne problems.

This live video series should give hope to any motivated sufferer who accidentally lost hope while under a strict dietary regime.

I stumbled upon your internet site on yahoo while attempting to find pimple alternatives. I keep on trying diverse goods hoping to find anything which will be effective. Up to now, I haven’t really had a whole bunch of success. Perhaps I will give this a try. Will you be updating this webpage frequently?

  2. Yong Trizarry Says:

  7. Mitesser Says:

I definitely agree with you on the ‘testing too many treatments’ issue. Trying numerous diets/remedies in a row can be very, very harmful to your skin! It is important to find a cure as fast as possible. If you randomly try one diet/remedy after the other, you can ruin your skin badly. Always be cautious

  8. Emily Says:

Hi, I’m not that strict of a vegetarian. I’m actually a pecitarian, whereas, we eat vegetables and seafood only. I”m a vegetarian teenager who has suffered with acne for 2 years. I started off with mild acne when i had lack of sleep, but I’ve changed my sleeping habits and they’ve gotten worse. Now, I have moderate acne. Any recommendations or advice ?

  9. Lecia Mucha Says:

Thank you so much, I enjoy reading about other vegetarians as it gives me the strength to continue. I have about a thousand vegetarian feeds in my google reader, but I’m sure another can’t hurt!! I did manage to find a good lentil recipe here, but I’ll be sure to try yours too. Thanks!
