Setting The Stage For The Next Chapter

Thursday, March 8th, 2012

hey Everyone,
here’s the new home page video explaining the movement of The Acne Practice:

Here’s a sneak peek at the new dashboard that is being clinically dialed-in to perfection this season.

And here’s the game plan for the release of the fully automated version:

Summer 2012: We will be releasing a beta version of the video communication system with the current email system as a back up if there are any remaining concerns or glitches whatsoever.

2012-2013: We will then observe areas where clients still need Dr. Neal directly and make new detailed videos specifically addressing every loose end and remaining concern. This refinement process will continue until there are zero unresolved concerns. In the future system, our call center will spend time helping clients navigate to the perfect video for their specific situation or concern. We will also create a section of the dashboard called “Request a New Video” which will allow clients to request the creation of new videos.

Fall of 2013: Take on the major project of translating hundreds of videos into multiple languages to prevent needless suffering all over the world.

2013 and beyond: Closely observe the system for anyone who is still struggling, review client dashboards, study loose ends, and add new videos where needed to address any outlying situations or concerns. No one will slip through the cracks who is willing to ask for assistance. That is the basis of the movement here.

These are exciting times.

I’ll be here,
-Dr. Neal

Hanging out with Dr. Neal (Episode 1: “They Will Never Understand”)

Saturday, March 3rd, 2012

Hey Everyone,

I’m starting a new video series today that will be a little less formal and allow me to address the many emotional reactions associated with chronic ailments.

Here’s Episode 1. It’s a long form video for those who just want to hang out and chit chat…

  2. Jackie Paulson Says:

Taking on hopelessness is hard for me…I am a chronic cystic acne – sufferer: and I am hoping that I can find a new doctor near me to rid my scars and pits, over 10+ from condition. I only work and go home, do not go in public!!!!!!!!!

    hey Fiona,
Sorry to hear that story. Try to understand that acne is a little scary for those who are not familiar with it and try your best to bring out the comedy in the situation. This is a treatable condition. You can find me on the Ask Dr. Neal page if you are ready to go to battle.

    I’ll be here,
    -Dr. Neal

Dr. Neal this was a great video to put things into perspective for me! I’ve had a lot of trouble not being able to talk to my family or closest friends about this because like you said they will never understand since really none of them have gone through a struggle with acne. I guess I just forget that sometimes and I need to remind myself that. Thanks for lifting my spirits up with the videos you do on here! Sometimes I need something to turn to since I just isolate myself sometimes, since no one does understand about what I’m going through. I will check out the crossfit section. I respect you very much and appreciate everything you do on here!
